Martyr Hama Lakhdar University - El Oued - commemorates the 61st National Anniversary of Victory Day
In commemoration of the 61st national anniversary of Victory Day, today, Monday, March 20, 2023, the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, which organized the event, and under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Omar Farhati, and the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ammar Gharaysa, commemorated this historic occasion and commemorated the Month of the Martyrs, the Faculty commemorated many activities. In the context of national memory and in commemoration of Victory Day, March 19, the college space witnessed a major celebration attended by the University Rector, Professor Omar Farhati, along with the State Director of the Mujahideen, Professor Fawzi Masmoudi, the grandson of the martyr Hama Lakhdar, Mr. Lamqaddam Boubacar, the Director of the Mujahid Museum, Dr. Ghamam Amara Muhammad, and the University Vice Rector. For pedagogy, Professor Bashir Manai, the Secretary-General of the University, Shawqi Mudallal, the Sub-Director of Activities, the Media and Communication Cell of the University, and the college frameworks, including the Deputy Deans, the Secretary-General of the College, the heads of departments, and the college family, including professors, students, employees, and workers.
Where Mr. Dean of the College, Dr. Ammar Gharaysa, gave a welcoming speech to the attendees, outlining the activities commemorating the 61st anniversary of Victory Day. Mr. Director of the Mujahideen presented his speech in which he praised the role of the university and its director, Professor Omar Farhati, Mr. Dean of the College, all the actors, and the Wadi Souf region and what it provided for the sake of liberating Algeria. He addressed the university family and our dear students with praise for their general role in protecting Algeria, as their fathers and grandfathers did, and that The Wadi Souf region was home to the weapons of the liberation revolution, recalling that the University of the Martyr Hama Lakhdar was named after the hero of the French colonial flag and his allies, the meaning of sacrifice and freedom, and the battle of “Hod Sheika” and all the battles of the region and the convoys of martyrs are a badge of glory and eminence, thanking all state institutions and the National People’s Army, the descendant of the army. Editing that carries the trust of the martyrs, indicating the role of our students in raising the name of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar and Algeria in the forums of science and knowledge and to be the best successor to the best predecessor.
The activities began with lectures and songs presented by Professor Othman Zaqb on the role of Algerian diplomacy in achieving victory. The buds of Naghmoush Mohamed Al-Taher primary school students also presented national songs and plays that shook the audience with the sincerity of innocence, their national awareness and the beauty of their spirit out of love for Algeria, to honor the Mr. Director of the University of the Martyr Hama Lakhdar, the Mr. Director of the Mujahideen, and the Mr. Dean of the College. Representatives of the entire university family and the revolutionary family of the family of the martyr Hama Lakhdar, represented by his grandson, Mr. Boubacar Lamkadam, concluded the ceremony with a national anthem for the buds and children of Algeria, who are students of the Naghmoush Mohamed Al-Taher School, carrying the flag of the homeland high.
