The university director values the qualitative training of medical physics students
Today, Monday, June 5, 2023, the Rector of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar - El Oued - Professor Omar Farhati, accompanied by his Deputy for External Relations, Professor Habib Qedda, held a meeting with the professor and national expert in the field of medical physics, Murad Bourouina, one of the training team in the specialty of medical physics at the University of El Oued, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences. Minutes: Professor Abdel Wahab Mansour, Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Murad Maimouni, Head of the Physics Division, Dr. Rashid Ahmeem, Head of the Radiation Physics Specialization, and Mr. Secretary General of the College, Hani Al-Sadiq. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen the training team with national and international expertise and draw up a well-thought-out strategy to achieve qualitative training for students of this very important and vital specialty, given Due to the severe shortage in the labor market for specialists in this field, especially in cancer treatment centers and radiology analysis centers of all kinds. The University Rector appreciated the efforts made by the college and department staff in this context and listened to all the existing concerns. He encouraged everyone to continue this great effort and expressed his readiness to implement all the proposals of the medical physics working group with the aim of advancing this specialty. The meeting concluded by honoring the national expert, Professor Murad Bourouina, for his services in training and supervising medical physics students at our university, by the University Rector, his deputy, and the entire family of the Faculty of Exact Sciences.
