The director of the University of the Valley meets with the General Union of Algerian Workers
Today, September 26, 2023, the Rector of the University of Chahid Hama Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, met at the headquarters of the central administration with the President of the General Union of Algerian Workers, Atatfa Hajer, Rifqa Ghoumaima Laroussi.
The meeting agenda included several points of interest to the social partner, including the promotions file, internal and external employee training, registrations, the concerns of cleaning workers, the feeding file, transporting workers, the hygiene aspect, and others.
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University in charge of Development and Foresight, Professor Manai Bashir, the Secretary-General of the University, the Sub-Director of Cultural, Scientific and Sports Activities, and the Sub-Director of Users.
The attendees discussed all the issues that concern the social partner, as the university president stressed the importance of these periodic meetings that he holds with the social partner at the beginning of each university season. The Director pledged to study all the concerns raised by the union, take them into consideration, and find all appropriate solutions, appreciating the role of the union members for their efforts. The union also praised the efforts of the university director and what he is doing to advance the university and its employees.
