An information day to introduce the European Erasmus+ programme

Today, February 5, 2024, the Vice-Directorate of the University for External Relations at El Oued University organized an information day in the small lecture hall about the European program + Erasmus for the benefit of all professors and research students under the supervision of the Director of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, accompanied by his Deputy for External Relations, Dr. Mohamed Fouad Farhat, and the President of the National Committee for the Promotion of the English Language, Director of External Relations at the University of Algiers 2, Professor Asia Qased, and Dr. Nasr Dahda, in charge of international projects, and the Vice-Director of the University for Pedagogy, and the deans and their deputies, and the heads of departments and their deputies for external relations, and a number of professors and students.
The University President opened the media day by welcoming the Chairwoman of the National Committee for the Promotion of the English Language.
And with Dr. Fatima Nour from Gazi University in Turkey, who is present within the framework of the international movement Erasmus+ at Al Wadi University, and with the attendees, pointing to the importance of the openness of professors, researchers and students to international projects and to what Al Wadi University has achieved in terms of effectiveness within the framework of the international movement and the university’s abundance of research and scientific energies that have represented the university and the country in the best way, calling on all researchers to activate research projects within the international movement in order to achieve scientific, research and cultural openness, which is what the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aims for in order to achieve research and scientific quality.
In her speech, Professor Qased Asia thanked the University Director and the Directorate of External Relations for what Al Wadi University has achieved in light of the international movement and the importance of the project that aims to improve the quality of higher education and enhance dialogue and understanding between peoples and cultures through cooperation with the European Union countries and other countries. The Vice President of the University for External Relations presented the main axes included in the Erasmus program and its role in activating the university's research and scientific projects, and that the professor and research students are the focus of the success of these projects.
During the media day, an explanation of the Erasmus+ programmes was given to students and professors by Dr. Mohamed Shoshani Obaidi. A discussion was opened on the mechanisms for selecting Erasmus+ project programmes.
