The first international training workshop in drawing and painting for the blind at the University of El Oued
Today, 06/08/2022, the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar - El Oued - and under the auspices of the University Rector, Professor Dr. Omar Farhati, organized the first international workshop for training in drawing and painting for the blind category in the university’s technological business incubator. The first workshop targets the segment of blind students affiliated with the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar, as well as our graduating students.
This workshop was presented by the inventor of the first device in the world and who obtained a patent as part of the projects incubated by the business incubator of the University of El Oued, the student Muhammad Kassab.
During this workshop, the device was introduced and trained on in order to enable blind students to draw, especially in the pedagogical aspect, such as geometric shapes and geographical maps, as well as coloring and color recognition.
The business incubator official, Dr. Farhat Mohamed Fouad, also listened to the technological concerns and challenges of the blind group in order to overcome them through new patents aimed at integrating the blind group into the university and the general social environment.
The blind attendees were creative by showing their talents and their superior ability to propose creative ideas for invention.
This is the first workshop in the world concerned with the blind category, and the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar - El Oued - is ready to circulate these workshops and provide the device invented exclusively at the University of El Oued to all our students from this segment at the national level.
