Entrepreneurship House at Wadi University Participates in a Symposium on Business Incubators

Today, Monday 12/5/2022, the Entrepreneurship House at the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar in El Oued participated in a scientific symposium on university incubators and their role in supporting university students, which was held in the discussion hall at the Faculty of Economics.
The Director of the Entrepreneurship House, Professor Dr. Mufid Abdel-Lawi, spoke about the ongoing support operations carried out by the House for university students. In his speech, he touched on Resolution 1275 and explained the mechanisms for its implementation and how to benefit from this new experience, which will open other horizons for students with creative ideas.
The meeting was also moderated by the Director of the University Incubator, Dr. Farhat Mohamed Fouad, who focused in his speech on the necessity of benefiting from the presence of the incubator and the privileges it offers, as well as the CATI Center, while at the same time referring to the graduation thesis-patent project supervised by the incubator, reminding the students of the necessity of exploiting the available opportunities.
The students also benefited from the pioneering experience in the field of patents that Dr. Al-Saeed Ghandir spoke about, and which received a great response through the precise details and real experiences that the doctor narrated during his intervention, focusing on the necessity of economics students and all branches of social and human sciences engaging in the field of patents, given that all specializations serve each other.
The symposium also witnessed valuable interventions by Dr. Saeed Ammar, Dr. Al-Eid Gharbi, and Dr. Khaled Madkhali, who enriched the topic by addressing the business model and entrepreneurship and mentioning some global experiences of incubators, concluding with honoring the lecturers and organizers.
For reference, the symposium was opened by Professor Dr. Mohamed Nasser Hamidato, Director of the Laboratory, sponsor of the activity “Laboratory for Economic Growth and Development in Arab Countries”, and the activity supervisors were Dr. Ammar Mustafawi and Dr. Najia Salihi, supervisors of the research team organizing the activity “Business Incubators and Their Contributions to the Development of Micro-Enterprises in Algeria”.
