Today, January 25, 2023, the Vice-Rector of the University of Chahid Hama Lakhdar, in charge of scientific research and the Director of the Scientific Publishing Council, Professor Boubacar Mansour, held a coordination meeting with the professors and editors-in-chief of the university’s journals in order to determine the status of journals and publications and research in developing a special strategy aimed at upgrading the classification of journals from category “C.” “To Category “B” then “A” and developing a work plan for the academic year 2022/2023 and how to publish and print magazines and books. 
Martyr Hama Lakhdar El Oued University is considered a pioneer in the field of publishing and classification, as it ranks first nationally in the number of classified journals, with 26 journals classified as “C” category. 
 During the meeting, Mr. Ammar Zoabi, Deputy Director of the Publishing Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences, gave a presentation on the status of journals and publications at the university and explained a plan on the strategy and promotion of these journals to Category B. Mr. Attia Abdel Malek, representative of journals of a technical and technological nature, also gave a presentation on publishing techniques and assisting mechanisms. To classify magazines into categories “B” and “A”.
 A scientific discussion by the professors and editors-in-chief revolved around the problems and technical difficulties in the field of classification, after which the journals that were part of the strategy of upgrading them from Class C to Class B and A were targeted within a future vision, promoting scientific publishing in its global field, and preserving the successes achieved by the University of the Valley in the field.
