In preparation for establishing an artificial intelligence pole in the agricultural field at the University of the Valley
 
 
Today, January 30, 2023, the Director of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, supervised the meeting dedicated to the preparations for the scientific event Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in the Agricultural Field, which was attended by the Vice-Director of the University in charge of External Relations, Professor Qaddah Al-Habib, the Vice-Director of the University in charge of Development and Foresight, Dr. Lassoud Abdel Halim, the deans of the faculties, a group of professors, the Head of the Department of Computer Information, the Head of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, and the Secretaries-General of the Faculties.
The university director gave a detailed presentation of the preparations for the event and opened the floor for discussion for the attendees to raise all concerns and suggestions.
During the meeting, the programming process was regulated and committees were allocated as follows:
 Formation Committee, Exhibition Committee, Management Committee, File Preparation Committee and Logistics Committee.
 This event will witness the participation of many specialists in the field of artificial intelligence from inside and outside the country, neighboring universities, and representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
 It is expected that a complete file will be prepared to request the establishment of an artificial intelligence pole in the field of agriculture in the state of El Oued, University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, to be deposited with the General Directorate of Scientific Research.
