 The Faculty of Biological Sciences at El Oued University organizes an introductory day for clubs and receives a scientific delegation from the University of Constantine 1

 Today, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences at the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar organized an introductory day for the various clubs of the college and their achievements, where the Dean of the College, Dr. Zaatar Abdel Malek, his deputies, heads of departments, and the Secretary-General of the College supervised. The college family, including professors and students, participated in the activities of the open day for the various scientific and sports clubs and wings of the Ibn Sina Club, the Green Hope Club, the Al-Wifaq Sports Club, and the Veterinary Club (Vet Hub), which aims to raise awareness of the field of veterinary medicine and its importance in serving the community. On the introductory day, the activities and achievements of the scientific clubs that have influenced university life and contributed to developing students' skills were reviewed. The college also had a parallel scientific activity, which was the visit of a scientific delegation from the University of Constantine 1, the Mentouri brothers, consisting of second-year master's students specializing in Biotechnology and Vegetal Genomics, accompanied by professors "Moulef Adhraa" and "Klo Kamal". The delegation was received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Zaatar Abdelmalek, and his deputies for studies, Dr. Al-Ayesh Amar Al-Tahami, and external relations, Dr. Mehdi Salman, and the heads of departments, the Secretary-General of the College, and professors: "Belhabib Abdelhamid", "Alali Ahmed", and "Khalaf Yahya", and a number of administrative staff of the college. The delegation was briefed on the facilities and structures of the college, starting with the pedagogical laboratories, where the head and engineers of the laboratories provided information and explanations about the work of the laboratories and various laboratory devices, as well as the Covid laboratory, where they were received by the Director of the Medical Annex, Professor Samir Darwish. The delegation was then informed of the smart hall, and during this field tour, discussions were opened on joint research issues between the two colleges, as well as the possibility of Signing agreements between the two universities. On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation moved to the college lobby to participate in the open day for clubs and their wings. At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed its admiration for the college’s capabilities and the university, thanking them for the hospitality and reception.
