The Central Library of El Oued University organizes a training course for students on the National Handwritten Documentation System (SNDL)  

Today, December 12, 2022, the Central Library of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar organized a training session on the National Line Documentation System SNDL for the benefit of students of the Faculties of Exact Sciences and Technology.
The session was opened on behalf of the University Director, Professor Omar Farhati, by his deputy in charge of pedagogy, Professor Bashir Manai, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Professor Abdel Wahab Mansour, and the Director of the Central Library, Adila Jabou, accompanied by the library staff.
According to the library director, this training course aims to explain the mechanisms and how to use the university's documentation system and digital repository and the search method in the library's automated system. On this occasion, Mr. Sakni Belkacem and Ms. Hajra Hani gave explanatory presentations on the SNDL online documentation system using technological and digital means, including datashow, PowerPoint, university website data and the correspondence, where students were able to understand and comprehend the explanations provided. They also raised many questions and some technical problems that they encounter.
According to the library director, this training course is the first of its kind at the university, noting that similar courses are scheduled for this week and the following week across all remaining colleges, including a training course next Wednesday for students of the College of Arts and Languages.
For reference, the number of members of the national online documentation system is estimated at 4,144 members. The central library also includes 12,132 book titles with a total of 31,639 copies distributed among various specializations. The number of doctoral theses reached 415, master's theses 398, master's theses 4,410, and university journals 215, diverse between academic and general journals.
