A delegation from the Uzbekistan University of World Languages on a practical visit to the University of the Valley 
 
 
Today, February 7, 2023, a high-level scientific delegation from the University of World Languages in Tashkent in the Republic of Uzbekistan made a two-day practical visit to the Martyr Hama Lakhdar University in the valley.
This scientific visit is the first of its kind - according to the guest delegation - at the national level carried out by an Uzbekistani university to an Algerian university with the aim of concluding an agreement for cooperation, scientific research and joint student exchange.
The delegation was accompanied on this practical visit on behalf of the Vice Chancellor for External Relations, Professor Habib Qedda, on behalf of the University Chancellor, Professor Omar Farhati, with an accompaniment in the media coverage of the various points of the visit by both the Press and Publishing Officer and the Editor-in-Chief of the University of the Valley Magazine, Dr. Khalifa Qaid and Media and Communications Officer Dr. Abdullah Raqiq.
During the program of the first day of the visit, the delegation made an exploratory tour of the College of Arts and Languages, where they were received on behalf of the Dean of the College, Professor Dalal Washan Al-Sayyid, the Deputy Dean in charge of Studies, Dr. Dahda Nasser, along with the Deputy Dean for Post-graduation, Professor Youssef Al-Ayeb, the heads of the departments of Arabic, English, and French languages, the Director of the Cognitive Integration Laboratory, and the Secretary. General of the college and a group of the pedagogical administrative staff.
The delegation of the University of Uzbekistan consists of the University Rector, Abidjanov Alisher, the Dean of the Faculty of Translation, Karimov Rivojiddin, the Director of the Arabic Language Department, Kodirova Kamala, and Abbas Ahmed Al-Zubaidi, in charge of relations with Arab countries.
In its first stop of the visit, the guest delegation toured the college’s library facilities and viewed a number of Arabic language books and a number of existing scientific references. It also moved around some of the classrooms and spoke with its students and professors. The delegation gave a close-up picture of the teaching methods at the University of World Languages and how outstanding students obtain scholarships. Pointing out that study is free in the various stages of training within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the two universities. The delegation also toured the college administration headquarters, viewed an exhibition of scientific journals, and took a session in the meeting room where they exchanged conversations with the college’s administrative and pedagogical staff.
The guest delegation devoted the second leg of its visit to the College of Nature and Life, where they were received by the Dean of the College, Dr. Zaatar Abdel Malek, accompanied by the Secretary General of the College, Masoudi Abdel Malek, and a number of the administrative and pedagogical staff. The delegation toured a number of college facilities and laboratories, especially the Covid-19 analysis laboratory. It also stopped at the model model of axial spraying in the college lobby, and also visited some classrooms. Members of the delegation also spoke with the students, offering them the possibility of studying at the Uzbekistan University within the framework of the joint agreement between the two universities, with the university sponsoring the student in terms of university services and care.
In the morning of the second day of its visit, the delegation of the University of World Languages of Uzbekistan is expected to complete a practical tour of some of the university’s faculties, and in the evening the guest university director will sign with the director of the University of the Valley a framework agreement for joint cooperation in scientific research and student exchange in order to enhance the scientific and pedagogical relationship between the two parties.
