The University President holds a coordination meeting to upgrade the university’s visibility and classify its website

Today, June 6, 2023, the Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, held a working session on the visibility and classification of the university’s website, which brought together his deputy in charge of external relations, Professor Al-Qaddah Al-Habib, the person in charge of monitoring the website, Professor Zuhair Tayr, Dr. Bashir Bin Saghir, the person in charge of upgrading the university’s visibility, Professor Ammar Zaabi, and specialists from professors and experts, the head of the Networks and Communication Systems Department, the person in charge of the central website, the persons in charge of the faculties’ websites, and the sub-director of activities. The University Director opened the meeting by referring to the improvement of the university’s visibility and classification, calling for continuous follow-up of all the problems and shortcomings related to the university’s visibility and the provision and activation of all the possibilities that the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar abounds in. During the meeting, a number of points were raised regarding the university’s visibility in the global rankings QS, THE, and others, as well as website statistics and ways to improve it by preparing numerous projects that include various work plans for professors and specialists.
The discussion also revolved around a number of proposals and some technical issues and ways to address them, which would improve the visibility and classification of the university’s website, in terms of attendance and openness indicators, and testing the integrity of the content to distinguish and upgrade the scientific value.
