    The Secretary-General of the University of the Valley holds a coordination meeting with the medical and pedagogical staff

 

Under the guidance of the Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, a coordination meeting was held today, Thursday, September 26, between the Secretary-General, Dr. Shawki Madallal, and the staff of the University’s Pedagogical Medical Center, where an action plan was developed aimed at implementing the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Health Care for students.

The meeting included several main points, including:

- Medical examinations for students and emphasizing the importance of conducting medical examinations for students to ensure their health and safety.

- Taking care of students with special needs and developing strategies to support students with special needs, ensuring an appropriate educational environment for them.

- Strengthening vaccination campaigns among students to protect them from diseases.

- Psychological support: Providing psychological support to students, with a focus on the importance of mental health in the university environment.

This meeting reflects Wadi University’s commitment to promoting student health and safety and its concern for the individual needs of each student.

It also aims to enhance cooperation between different colleges and medical staff, to ensure effective implementation of these initiatives. Wadi University also works on the health awareness axis and organizes awareness workshops and lectures on public health and the importance of periodic examinations.

Implementing a system to evaluate the effectiveness of health programs provided based on students’ needs.
