Today, April 25, 2024, the Psychological Assistance Center at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar organized a scientific symposium to activate the outcomes of the training forum on the dangers of drugs and addiction in light of psychological treatment methods.
The scientific symposium was opened by the Vice Dean for Studies, Professor Shawqi Qaddoura, in the presence of the University Secretary General, Dr. Shawqi Madallal, the Dean of the College, Dr. Ammar Ghraisa, a representative of the National Security, the University Services Directorate, and the Addiction Control Center, in addition to professors, students, and the College family. The Vice Dean, Professor Shawqi Qaddoura, welcomed the attendees and pointed out the importance of the meeting. He urged awareness campaigns to reduce this phenomenon and its dangers. The Director of the Center, Dr. Ghrab Rahma, also gave a welcoming speech, thanking all those who contributed to the success of this event. Professor Qaisi Muhammad Al-Saeed touched on the matter.
On the importance of the symposium and the main goal and the involvement of all stakeholders in building a treatment plan and implementing it on the ground. The symposium aims to develop a systematic practical plan with the contribution of all stakeholders in combating drug addiction, each according to his specialization.
