Director of Wadi University inaugurates and inspects several new university facilities
Today, January 22, 2024, Professor Omar Farhati, Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, inaugurated and inspected several new university facilities and supervised the launch of the process of selecting micro-enterprise projects in the business incubator.
In this context, the University President supervised the launch of the selection process for micro-enterprise projects in the business incubator, accompanied by Dr. Farhat Mohamed Fouad, Director of Interfaces, Vice President of the University for External Relations and Head of the Research Center for Physical and Chemical Analysis. On the spot, the University President and the Business Incubator staff inspected part of the selection process for student projects, estimated at 24 economic projects of various specializations. He also spoke with the project owners and encouraged them to move forward in implementing them in the field, pledging to support the incubator and the university for their economic projects.
The University President also inaugurated training and IT halls in the Faculties of Arts, Languages, Social and Human Sciences, Law and Political Sciences, in addition to inaugurating the lecture and discussion hall in the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences and inspecting the preparation works for the lecture and discussion hall in the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.
During his practical tour, the University President was accompanied by his deputies for development, foresight and pedagogy, the Secretary General of the University, the deans of the relevant faculties, their deputies for studies and the heads of departments, each according to his faculty. The deans of the faculties welcomed the University President and thanked him for the support and important achievements he had provided at the level of their faculties, pledging to work and be active to achieve the objectives sought from these new facilities in the faculties.
During each of the inauguration and inspection stations, the University President thanked all the deans of the faculties and their administrative and pedagogical staff for their great efforts in achieving a qualitative leap in the success of management and pedagogical work, noting the spirit of cooperation between the faculties in exploiting these scientific and training spaces, considering that this is at the heart of the culture of joint work, honesty, achievement and tireless efforts to raise the level of training and scientific research at the university. The University President also stressed the need to make optimal use of these new spaces and put them in the service of qualitative university training with its multiple specializations so that the university, with its professors and students - as he said - is the locomotive of elites that leads society towards progress and prosperity.
