The Director of Al Wadi University opens the open day on the university and the economic and social environment
Today, February 12, 2024, the Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, opened the open day on the university and the economic and social environment at the University Interfaces Center at the University Pole of Martyrs under the slogan Towards a real and sustainable partnership.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Interfaces Center, Vice President of the University for External Relations, Mohamed Fouad Farhat, along with the administrative staff and economic partners, representatives of: the Commercial Registry, Atak Place Cleaning Company, Bakkar Public Works Company (Column Production Unit), a representative of Iso, Rawafed Company, and a representative of NESDA, in addition to students who own start-up projects and patents.
In his opening speech, the University Director stressed the importance of the meeting and considered it very important given that it brings together economic operators, students with innovative projects and start-ups, pointing out that there are about 120 start-up projects - patents, 10 of which have started work and production, noting the efforts made by the Director of Interfaces to raise these projects to international levels, expressing the absolute support of the Ministry and the University to help student project owners to make their companies successful and bring them into existence and production.
For his part, the Director of the Interfaces Center gave a presentation explaining the various stages of establishing start-ups and financing methods, stressing that six start-ups have obtained the Label brand and entered the production phase, pledging to bring these institutions to global levels soon. He also stressed the importance of training and technical and advisory support that project owners and start-ups receive from the Interfaces Center.
During the meeting, interventions and discussions were presented between student project owners and economic and consulting partners, focusing on the various challenges facing the concerned parties and mechanisms for overcoming the obstacles, in addition to organizing a technical exhibition on the occasion and a data show of the activities of the Interfaces Center.
