Oued University’s participation in regional workshops to improve the ranking of Arab universities in international classifications in Tunisia
Today, Professor Zaabi Amar, Vice President of the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar for Development and Foresight, participated in the regional workshop on improving the ranking of Arab universities in international classifications and the mechanisms for entering the Arab classification of universities and university accreditations, organized on May 8 and 9, 2024 by the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization at its headquarters in Tunisia.
The workshop was opened by Professor Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director General of the Organization, and was attended by representatives of several Arab universities from Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Libya and Egypt.
The workshop was also attended by representatives of various international rankings, including QS, THE, Arab Rankings, FIBAA, ASIC, and officials from organizations concerned with universities and scientific research from Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Association of Arab Universities, in addition to experts in data analysis.
The two-day workshop programme includes many presentations by experts specialising in the field of classifications, which are expected to raise awareness of classifications and identify the aspects of acceptance and excellence in classifications.
