PhD Students in Chemistry from Ouargla University on a ScientificVisit to the Faculty of Exact Sciences, University
of El Oued
Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Professor Abdelwahab Mansour, the PhD students of the Chemistry Department of Ouargla University, specializing in materials, were received this week by the Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Murad Mimouni, and the Director of the X-ray Laboratory, Professor Mahboub Mohamed El Sadek, at the Faculty of Exact Sciences. The program of the scientific visit consisted of two practical parts.
The first part involved a visit to the X-ray Laboratory, where the students and professors benefited from a detailed explanation given by Professor Mohamed El Sadek Mahboub on the equipment used, how to obtain results, and how to conduct the experiments accompanying the explanation.
The second part was dedicated to a training workshop on the X-ray analysis program (Highscore Plus), presented and supervised by Dr. Murad Mimouni.
The Dean of the Faculty and his Deputy in charge of Studies gave a welcoming speech to the attendees, praising the beneficial visit for the two universities.
The visit program was a great success, as all the students and guest professors expressed their great appreciation for the large amount of information they were given during the visit.
