Activities of the National Competition “Student Owner of a Start-up” at the University of El Oued
On May 3, 2023, the National Organization of Free Students at the University of El Oued, in coordination with the Sub-Directorate of Activities, organized the first edition of the national competition “Student Owner of a Start-up”. The competition was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Startups and Knowledge Economy, and under the supervision of the University Rector, Professor Omar Farhati, represented by his Deputy in charge of Pedagogy, Professor Bachir Menaï.
The competition was also supervised by the House of Entrepreneurship, represented by its Director, Professor Mufid Abdel Laoui, and Dr. Amar Mustaphawi. The event was attended by the Director of Mujahideen, the Director of University Services, and the Directors of the Moussa Mebrouk and Hammi Massouda Residences.
The competition saw many participations of start-up ideas from many students, which were presented to a specialized committee. The committee announced the three project ideas that will participate in the national competition.
