The University of El Oued Participates in the Tunisian-Algerian Student Festival
Within the framework of the 5+5 collaboration agreement between Algerian and Tunisian universities, a delegation from the University of El Oued met with Professor Taha Guerfal, Rector of the University of Kairaouan in Tunisia, and Tawfik Abbasi, Director of the Algerian-Tunisian Student Festival along with members of its organizing committee on April 25. During his welcome speech as host to the event, Rector Guerfal expressed gratitude to Professor Kamal Baddari – Algerian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research – as well as to Rector Omar Farhati for their efforts in promoting scientific cooperation and vibrant student life. He also thanked the entire delegation for travelling to ensure that this joint student festival would be successful.
In response, Mr. Bachir Zidane- head delegate and Director at University Services- conveyed thanks on behalf of Rector Omar Farhati who extended greetings and appreciation to President Guerfal and all attendees. The message expressed good wishes for success in all activities related to fostering cooperation through knowledge exchange during this significant event which is expected to be advantageous in strengthening ties between two brotherly countries sharing a common history and bloodline.
