El Oued Judicial Council and University of El Oued Organize a Study Day on the Legal Protection of Agricultural Land

The El Oued Judicial Council and the University of El Oued collaborated to organize a Seminar on the theme “Legal Protection of Agricultural Land”.

Held on 08/02/2023, the event brought together:

Magistrates
Lawyers
Notaries
Academics
Farmers

The seminar aimed to:

Raise awareness about the legal framework governing agricultural land
Discuss the challenges faced in protecting agricultural land
Propose solutions for strengthening the legal protection of agricultural land

During the seminar, several presentations were delivered on topics such as:

The legal regime of agricultural land in Algeria
The procedures for transferring agricultural land
The fight against land grabbing and illegal occupation
The role of different stakeholders in protecting agricultural land

The participants actively engaged in discussions and exchanged valuable insights on the importance of safeguarding agricultural land for sustainable development.

The seminar concluded with the adoption of a set of recommendations aimed at reinforcing the legal protection of agricultural land and ensuring its sustainable use for future generations.
