University of El Oued Organizes “Establishment of an Institution: From Idea to Achievement”

Within the framework of the Spring University and in coordination with the two research units on business incubators, micro-enterprises, and start-ups, and under the supervision of the Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lkhder, Professor Omar Ferhat, the House of Entrepreneurship organized a practical field work through a real-life simulation of the establishment of an institution, starting from an idea to its completion.

The activity was inaugurated by the Vice-Rector for External Relations, Professor Kadda Habib, who praised this event, which gives another dimension to university work and activities through real-life embodiment and bringing the administrations closer to the university student. This comes in line with the strategy of the supervising ministry, adds Professor Habib, which encourages the university to open up to its surroundings on the one hand and encourages entrepreneurs with innovative projects on the other hand.

Dr. Nadjia Salih, Head of the Research Unit, gave a clear picture of the activity through the working method we are striving for and highlighted the main objective of this activity and its themes, focusing on the need for students to interact with institutions to remove barriers and make information available from the source.

Dr. Amar Mustafawi, Director of the University of Continuing Education and Supervisor of the Activity, also spoke to emphasize that the business climate in this period is changing and accelerating and seeks to keep pace with all that is new, especially in the field of entrepreneurship. This is why this activity came to clarify the vision and remove ambiguity for the university student and put him in the picture of these developments.

Professor Dr. Mufid Abdel Latif, Director of the House of Entrepreneurship, focused in his speech on the fact that accompanying the student is not only linked to lectures and seminars, but also to providing information, especially from its owners. This activity came to keep pace with the continuous efforts to accompany students within the framework of decision 1275 and to give a picture of what happens after obtaining the label of a start-up or innovative project.

The activity witnessed direct interventions and extensive clarifications from all the bodies present, which were represented by:

  • The Commercial Register Center
  • The Chamber of Traditional Industry and Crafts
  • The National Social Security Fund for Non-Wage Earners (CASNOS)
  • The National Social Security Fund (CNAS)
  • The Directorate of Taxes
  • The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SOFI)

Finally, the lecturers and guests of the university were honored for responding to the invitation and for their interaction and contribution.
