First-year PhD students at El Oued University undergo Research and Development Training
Within the context of third-cycle education for new PhD students, the Vice-Directorate for Higher Education in the Third Cycle at the University of ElOued arranged an inaugural training session on April 10, 2023. The event was led by Professor Omar Ferhati, Rector of the University, and attended by Professor Boubaker Mansour, Vice-President for Scientific Research, as well as course supervisors Professors Hima Abdelkader and Amar Boucherit along with Engineer Samir Guediri. Additionally, first-year PhD students were present at this gathering held in the reading room of the central library.
The agenda included the following points:
- Creating a digital identity for each student via email.
- Basics of distance learning and Moodle platform.
- Time distribution of the training program in the following modules: philosophy, English, education, and information and communication technology.
The training session commenced with a welcome address from the Vice-Rector of the University, Professor Boubaker Mansour, who greeted the attendees and highlighted the significance of the event. He then invited Dr. Hima Abdelkader to outline the day’s agenda.
