Secretary General of the University of El Oued supervises the process of handing over housing rent transfer decisions to professors and permanent staff
Under the guidance of the rector of the University of El Oued, Professor Omar Ferahti, the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Chaouki Medellel, supervised the process of handing over the decisions of transferring the rent of social rental housing to professors and staff today, October 2, 2023, in the presence of the Vice-rectors of the University and the professors and staff concerned with benefiting from these decisions.
The matter concerns the distribution of a share of 80 three-room social rental housing units for permanent professors, and another share of 20 similar housing units for staff.
During the meeting, the Secretary General of the University provided detailed explanations on the process of transferring the housing file, starting with the initial benefit decision, through the decision to hand over the transfer of rent, and ending with the decision of transfer and ownership after fulfilling the legal requirements with the Office of Housing Promotion and Management, which is responsible for settling the housing file of professors and staff in coordination with the university administration.
The process of handing over the rent transfer decisions was well received by those concerned, who raised several questions and inquiries that were answered and clarified by the Secretary General. The beneficiaries also signed the delivery decisions at the end of the meeting, each individually.
