University of El Oued Rector gives the green light for the business incubator to start working at the new time until 10 p.m.
On October 1, 2023, the University Rector, Professor Omar Ferahti, accompanied by the Secretary General of the University, Dr. Chaouki, gave the green light for the business incubator to start working at the new time, which extends until 10 p.m. (22:00).
This operation is part of the implementation of the new ministerial circular on extending the opening hours of higher education institutions to the aforementioned time in order to ensure the continuity of the activity of the higher education institution in response to the requirements of the specificity of life in the university environment, especially in its pedagogical and research aspects.
The University Rector was welcomed by the vice Director of the Incubator, Professor Serouti Abdelghani, and the administrative and pedagogical staff working in this university facility. The first person in charge of the university gave, on the spot, practical instructions and guidelines that will ensure the smooth running of the incubator according to a program that is in line with the new schedule. He also asked the management of the incubator to launch an information and advertising campaign to inform students about the new schedule, including the need to activate the incubator’s Facebook page. He also invited them to open it to students to discuss graduation projects during the extension period. The administrative staff welcomed the instructions of the Director and pledged to implement them in the field.
It is worth noting that the business incubator, which is managed by Dr. Farhat Mohamed Fouad, has obtained the trademark (label) for three institutions, as well as registered 169 institutions between start-ups and small businesses, and 150 patents. It has an ambitious work program that it seeks to implement, which aims to attract students’ research and investment projects, represented by the creation of small and start-up businesses and patents that can be transformed into investment projects and institutions that generate wealth.
