University President Holds a Preparatory Meeting for the International Multidisciplinary Doctoral Conference
On November 7, 2023, Mr. Omar Farhati, the Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, chaired a meeting dedicated to the preparations for the international conference “The Artificial Intelligence Revolution – Challenges and Prospects”. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the central administration and was attended by the Deputy Directors of the University, the Deans of the Faculties, the members of the Organizing Committee, the Head of the Business Incubator, the Head of the Entrepreneurship House, the Head of Systems and Networks, and the Deputy Director of Logistics and Maintenance.
In his speech, Mr. Farhati highlighted the importance of the international multidisciplinary doctoral conference organized by the University of El Oued “The Artificial Intelligence Revolution – Challenges and Prospects”. He also emphasized the importance of the qualitative participation of scientific and research figures who can provide PhD students with new research ideas and contribute to the visibility and international ranking of the university, which is in line with the orientations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to encourage students to participate actively in all national and international scientific activities.
Mr. Boubaker Mansour, the Deputy Director of the University for Scientific Research and Training, presented a detailed presentation of the ongoing preparations for the second international multidisciplinary doctoral conference 2023, which will be held on December 11-13, 2023. During the meeting, the programming process was finalized and all necessary measures were taken for the organizational aspect, including the reception of students, the definition of training workshops, and the scientific lectures at the level of each faculty.
Mr. Kadda Habib, the Deputy Director of the University for External Relations, also presented a report on the readiness of the faculties for this important conference and all the logistical preparations. Mr. Farhati then opened the floor to the audience to discuss the conference’s contents, including competitions, scientific exhibitions, and research and innovation projects.
Mr. Farhati commended the efforts of the scientific and organizing committees of the conference and thanked all the attendees, and through them, all the researchers and PhD students in all the faculties for their constant interaction and the efforts of all the staff and professors for their participation in the success of this important scientific event.
