Training Course for Trainers and Intellectual Property in Entrepreneurship for the National Committee at the University of El Oued
On Sunday morning, March 5, 2023, the training caravan for trainers was received and the TOT course was inaugurated at the headquarters of the business incubator at the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar – El Oued. The event was attended by the university president, Professor Omar Farhati, the minister’s advisor and president of the national committee for monitoring innovation and university entrepreneurship, Professor Mir Ahmed, the director of the business incubator and national patent monitoring officer Dr. Farhat Mohamed Fouad, the university vice presidents for external relations, Professor Kadda Habib, and for development and foresight, Dr. Lssoud Abdelhalim, the university secretary general, Mr. Chouki Mdadel, the director of the National School of Saharan Agriculture, and members of the national committee, as well as the university’s administrative and scientific staff.
This training course is aimed at university business incubator managers and trainers, with a total of 30 trainees from higher education and scientific research institutions in the eastern region, namely the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar El Oued, the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla, the University of Larbi Tebessi, the University of Mohamed Khider Biskra, the Higher School of Teachers Ouargla, the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture El Oued, and the Center for Mechanical Research. The course aims to train university and entrepreneurial business incubator managers and all their scientific entities.
In his speech, the university president, Professor Omar Farhati, expressed his special thanks to all members of the national committee for monitoring innovation and university entrepreneurship, its president, Professor Mir Ahmed, and Dr. Mohamed Fouad Farhat, director of the incubator, for this research event, which is in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Professor Mir Ahmed, president of the national committee, also stated that more than 500 trainers in entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and trainer training have been trained at the end of this final course. These programs are part of the ongoing support for innovative project leaders and those involved in ministerial decision No. 1275, which establishes a certificate for a start-up company and a certificate of invention.
On the sidelines of the opening of the training course, the director of the university business incubator at the University of Martyr Hama Lakhdar – El Oued – Dr. Fouad Farhat and the president of the national committee for monitoring innovation and university entrepreneurship, Professor Mir Ahmed, were honored by the university president.
