In the Framework of Cooperation and Support for Scientific and Research Expertise
El Oued University Participates in the Cooperation and Training Forum in Tunisia
Within the framework of supporting cooperation and exchanging scientific and research expertise, and in line with the orientations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in supporting and developing the level of training for employees, administrators, and technicians in multiple fields of digitization, governance, and management, El Oued University participated with many national universities in the Cooperation and Training Forum in Tunisia.
At the behest of the University Rector, Professor Omar Ferahti, Professor Gueddah El Habib, Vice-Rector of the University for External Relations, represented the university in the forum’s work, which was supervised by the Higher Institute of Studies in Sousse for three days.
During the forum, the processes of training, internships, and exchange of expertise for employees, administrators, and technicians in the fields of digitization, management, and governance were discussed.
The participants listened to multiple presentations on different forms of training and visited the Cronos Box Business Incubator.
In cooperation with the Olga International Academy, they learned about the private and public institutional support for the business incubator and models of private sector relations in cooperating with and supporting the business incubator and its researchers, as well as the areas of research and scientific training, and benefiting from those models.
The participating delegation also visited the Higher Institute of Advanced Studies, which is private and accredited by the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to learn about the training areas provided by the institute’s professors and researchers.
Mr. Vice-Rector of the University for External Relations was accompanied by the University’s Information and Communication Officer, Dr. Abdullah Raqiq, along with the participating delegation from national universities and the staff of the Higher Institute of Studies THE on a field and scientific visit to the Higher Institute of Management at the University of Tunis.
The delegation received a number of explanations about what the institute offers and the BEST MOD scientific research laboratory, which gave a presentation on the areas of scientific research and training and discussed the areas of scientific exchange between Algerian and Tunisian laboratories within the framework of joint agreements.
During the days of the forum, intensive meetings were held to explain the training offers and discuss many points in the field of supporting expertise and technical and digital training between professors, employees, and PhD students.
The forum concluded with a number of recommendations and agreements aimed at developing training and exchange.
