Discussion of the First Joint Graduation Thesis within the Ministerial Decision on the Certificate of a Start-up Institution/Patent
On Monday, June 12, 2023, the first joint Master’s thesis was discussed at the University of Martyr Hamou Lkhder in the Mediatics lecture hall. The thesis was for the Certificate of a Start-up Institution/Patent under the framework of Ministerial Decision No. 1275 dated September 27, 2022, and Circular No. 001 dated May 18, 2023. The thesis was entitled “Rapid Treatment of Polluted Water Using Palm Waste” and was prepared by a team consisting of Dr. Arabi Haddad, Lecturer at the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Department of Chemistry, as supervisor, and students Khadija Trili, Radia Laheq, Mohamed Osama Hathroubi, Hasna Gharbi, and Ramise Ben Omar.
The thesis was discussed by a committee consisting of Professor Naima Ben Sheikh, President, from the Faculty of Exact Sciences; Djilani Ghammar Amar, Examiner, from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life; and Khaled Mansouri, representing the University Business Incubator; مفيد عبد اللاوي, Director of the House of Entrepreneurship; Mr. Youssef Rajeb, representing the Center for Technology Support and Innovation; and Hicham Mouhaida, representing the economic partner, the National Office for Sanitation in El Oued; and Hamza Serrai, representing the economic partner, Algerian Waters, El Oued Unit. Also present were Mr. Lakhdar Atta Allah, Director of Algerian Waters, and a number of the institution’s executives; Mr. Fouad Frahat, Director of the Incubator; Dr. Abdelouahab Mansour, Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Vice Dean for External Relations and Scientific Research; Dr. Abdelmalek Zatar, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life, and his Vice Deans for Studies and External Relations.
