حاضنة الأعمال بجامعة الوادي تلتقي بأصحاب المؤسسات الاقتصادية
On February 7, 2023, the University of Martyr Hamou Lkhder Technology Business Incubator, in coordination with the Technology Support and Innovation Center, organized a study day on the topic of trademarks and industrial property rights. The event was supervised by Mr. Belmehdi Abdel Hafid, General Manager of the National Institute of Industrial Property, and Mr. Youssef Ziane, Head of the Patents Department.
The event was opened by Mr. Chouki Medeldel, Secretary General of the University, on behalf of the University President, Professor Omar Farahati. In his speech, Mr. Medeldel conveyed the University President’s welcome to the owners of economic institutions and pointed out that this meeting is part of the University’s openness to its economic and social environment. He also thanked them for attending and wished them success in their work.
Mr. Ferhat Mohamed Fouad, Director of the Incubator, presented a presentation on the owners of economic institutions and on the organization of a technical exhibition on the sidelines of the event.
The General Manager of the National Institute of Industrial Property, together with the Head of the Patents Department, gave two presentations on a number of points that concern economic operators with regard to the legal and ethical aspects, the concept of patents, industrial property rights and trademarks, and how to protect them from a legal standpoint.
On the occasion, the National Institute of Industrial Property distributed about 100 new trademarks to economic operators, certified by the aforementioned Institute.
