Summary of the outcomes of the national sessions to reform the higher education and scientific research sector in Eastern universities
Today, Thursday, June 22, 2023, the Director of the University of Chahid Hama Lakhdar – El Oued – Professor Omar Farhati held a working session to present the outcome of the national sessions to reform higher education and scientific research and modernize it for the universities of the East, in the presence of both the Deputy Director for External Relations, Professor Guda Al-Habib, and the Deputy Director for Scientific Research, Professor Boubacar Mansour. For Development and Foresight, Dr. Lasoud Abdel Halim, and the committee members, Professors Ammar Al-Zoubi, Othman Howaydig, Fares Asadi, Hisham Gharbi, Director of Sub-Activities, Bashir Zidan, and Mrs. Khadija Bin Mubarak.
Where the Rector of the University opened the meeting for the sessions of the project of reforms and modernization of the higher education and scientific research sector with a welcoming speech to the members of the committee and the importance of what is presented in the field of modernization of higher education and scientific research in accordance with the recommendations of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the meetings of the regional symposium for the universities of the East, in which the University of the Valley participates in discussing one of the The major topics in the areas of governance, the student’s living environment, and legal accompaniment, focusing on the goals set in these sessions.
Professors Shawqi Qadadra, Fares Asadi, and Zoabi Ammar also presented presentations and explanatory explanations, which consisted of preliminary reports in the same fields, and opened the door for discussion and exchange of views to submit proposals that will be included in the final report, which will contribute to improving the level of the university, higher education, and scientific research in Algeria.
