On June 19, 2023, the Board of Directors of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhder El Oued held its second ordinary session of the year in the meeting room of the central administration under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohamed Tahar Halilat, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of the University of Kasdi Merbah Ouargla. The meeting was attended by the University President, Professor Omar Farhati, his deputies, the Secretary General of the University, members of the Board of Directors, representatives of the wilaya sectors, deans of faculties, and representatives of students and workers.
The meeting focused on the following items on the agenda:
Presentation of the pedagogical and research report
Status of the 2022 budget consumption
Presentation of the 2023 budget
Status of the 2023 budget consumption
Presentation of the draft budget for 2024
Miscellaneous
The meeting was opened by Professor Mohamed Tahar Halilat, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who welcomed the members of the Board and gave the floor to Professor Omar Farhati, University President, who in turn welcomed the Chairman of the Board and the members.
Professor Bachir Menaï, Vice-President of the University for Pedagogy, gave a comprehensive presentation on the achievements of the Vice-Presidency of the University for Pedagogy. Professor Boubaker Mansour, Vice-President of the University for Scientific Research, gave a presentation on the achievements of the Vice-Presidency of the University for Scientific Research. Professor Habib Ghada, Vice-President of the University for External Relations, gave a presentation on the achievements of the Vice-Presidency of the University for External Relations. In his presentation, Dr. Abdelhalim Lesoud, Vice-President of the University for Development, Foresight and Orientation, gave a presentation on the achievements and activities of the Vice-Presidency of the University for Development, Foresight and Orientation. Mr. Chouki Medellel, Secretary General of the University, gave a presentation on the University’s budget, which included a presentation of the 2023 budget and a draft budget for 2024.
The Chairman of the Board then gave the floor to the members of the Board for discussion and explanations.
In conclusion, the University President thanked the Chairman of the Board and the attendees, and Professor Mohamed Tahar Halilat, Chairman of the Board, praised the great efforts made by Professor Omar Farhati, University President, at all levels to develop the university and the results achieved. He also thanked the entire university community of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhder El Oued, professors, students, workers and employees.
