The Rector of the University of El Oued inaugurates the audiovisual studio at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.
On January 16, 2023, Professor Omar Ferhati, the Rector of the University of El Oued, officially inaugurated the audiovisual studio at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the vice-rectors the Dean of the Faculty, the Director of the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture, the heads of the departments, the General Secretary of the University, media and communication cell officials, as well as administrative and pedagogical staff, in addition to students.
The audiovisual studio occupies an estimated area of square meters and consists of two rooms: one for technical presentation and the other for broadcasting, with an expansion planned in the near future. This media facility is equipped with advanced equipment that allows for broadcasting, recording, and technical processing according to the latest technological advancements.
On this occasion, the university studio channel aired an inaugural segment featuring an interview conducted by the head of the department, Dr. Hamza Guedda, with the university rector and his accompanying delegation. The university rector congratulated the faculty and the university on this media achievement, emphasizing the importance and purpose of the new media facility. He highlighted that this facility represents a qualitative addition to the university and the faculty, especially in terms of practical training aspects for students and the anticipated media services that the channel will provide to the university. Additionally, guests of the studio delivered congratulatory remarks on the occasion.
