The University of El Oued Signs Twinning Agreement with Uzbekistan State University of World Languages
The University of El Oued and Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (USWUL) signed a twinning agreement on February 8, 2023, in El Oued, Algeria.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two universities in the fields of scientific research, student exchange, and faculty development.
The agreement was signed by Professor Omar Ferhati, Rector of the University of El Oued, and Dr. Abduzhandonov Alisher, Acting Rector of USWUL.
The signing of the agreement is a significant step in the development of cooperation between Algeria and Uzbekistan in the field of higher education.
Preparations for the signing ceremony
On February 7, 2023, a delegation from USWUL visited the University of El Oued. The delegation was led by Dr. Karimov Rivojiddin, Dean of the Faculty of Translation, and Dr. Kodirova Kamala, Head of the Department of Arabic Language.
The delegation met with Professor Habib Qaddah, Vice-Rector for External Relations, and Dr. Abdallah Raqiq, a lecturer of Social and Cultural Anthropology. The two sides discussed the implementation of the twinning agreement.

The signing ceremony was held on February 8, 2023, in the central meeting room of the University of El Oued.

- The Museum of the Thousand Domes Heritage and Tourism Association
- The Local Tourism and Traditional Crafts Office
The signing of the twinning agreement between the University of El Ouedand USWUL is a significant step in the development of cooperation between Algeria and Uzbekistan in the field of higher education.
