– Visits the University Business Incubator and the Renewable Energy Research Center Unit
– Meets with the Staff of the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture and Lectures on Russian Language and Culture at the Faculty of Economic Sciences
On September 20, 2023, the Rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University Opens Russian Corner at El Oued University of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University, Professor Galiak Berova, accompanied by the Rector of El Oued University, Professor Omar Ferahti, and Dr. Ammar Mustafaoui, Director of the Intensive Language Learning Center, inaugurated the Russian Corner at the Center in the presence of a number of professors and students interested in learning the Russian language. The Russian Corner is considered an important area in the framework of the exchange and cooperation between Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University and El Oued University, which will enable our students to learn about other cultures in the field of science, knowledge, research, and science. This is one of the goals of the Algerian university, which is emphasized by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamel Baddari, and the directives of the University Rector, Professor Omar Ferahti.
Visit to the University Business Incubator and the Renewable Energy Research Center Unit
Prior to that, the delegation of the Russian university, as part of the scientific and research visit program, visited the University Business Incubator and the Renewable Energy Research Center Unit at El Oued University. The delegation was accompanied by the Rector of El Oued University, his Vice- Rector for External Relations, Professor Gueddah El Habib, the Director of the University Business Incubator, the Director of the Renewable Energy Research Center, and a group of professors and student researchers. The delegation visited the laboratory of the unit, where they were given explanations about the most important equipment for analysis and measurement. The delegation received explanations from Dr. Ouasif Khaled Mohamed El Tayeb, Director of the Research Center, on the processes of natural solar drying of vegetables and fruits. Some dried products were displayed, and a natural cooling device using palm tree residues was introduced, designed and produced locally by a research team in heat exchange led by Professor Ali Al-Zayn. The delegation then moved to the University Business Incubator to learn about the innovation projects, the different research laboratories, the achievements of the researchers, and the patents registered in which El Oued University has taken the national lead. Dr. Mohamed Fouad Farhat, the head of the incubator, and the professors and researchers explained the different spaces available in the incubator, including the spaces for computer science and artificial intelligence, the chemistry laboratory, the manufacturing space, and the training room. The delegation received explanations about the role of the business incubator and the available equipment, and they also saw the different prototypes made by the students who own the projects and how they work.At the end, the director wrote words in the visitors’ book expressing her admiration for the work done.
Visit to the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture
Afterwards, the delegation of the Russian university, accompanied by the University Rector went to the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture, where they were welcomed by the Director of the School, Professor Sakai Soufiane, the Secretary General of the School, Mr. Mokhtar Ben Halima, and all the staff of the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture. The delegation listened to explanations about the school’s objectives in achieving development, and the delegation toured the school’s many facilities.
Lecture on Russian Language and Culture at the Faculty of Economic Sciences
At the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Commercial Sciences and Management Sciences, the Rector of the University, Professor Galiak Berova, gave an introductory lecture on Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University and an introduction to the Russian language and culture. The University Rector was accompanied by her Vice-Rector for International Relations, Professor Djamila Kalakoudina, Dr. Sharafutdinov Ulik, the University Rector, his Vice-Rector for External Relations, and a group of professors and students.
The meeting was opened by the University Rector, accompanied by his Vice-Rector for External Relations, Professor Gueddah El Habib, who welcomed the attendees and gave the floor to Professor Galiak Berova, who gave a presentation about her university, which is the only one of its kind in the Republic of Tatarstan. She also pointed out that it is a modern and innovative educational and research university. She also mentioned the number of its faculties, facilities, student population, and specializations. It has 6 faculties and an institute for additional vocational education, with more than 5,000 students, including 7% foreigners. She also referred to the university’s international activities and scientific conferences that are programmed every year.
