Signature d'un accord de jumelage entre l'Université d'El Oued et l'Université pédagogique d'État Naberezhnye Chelny du Tatarstan, Russie
On February 27, 2023, The University-El Oued signed a twinning agreement with the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University of Tatarstan, Russian Federation. The agreement was signed by Professor Omar Ferhati, Rector of the University of El Oued, and Professor Galina F. Zainullina, Rector of the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University.
The signing ceremony was held in the central meeting hall and was attended by:
- Vice-Rectors of the University of El Oued in charge of external relations, pedagogy, development and foresight
- Director of the Higher School of Desert Agriculture
- Deans of the faculties and their deputies in charge of studies
- Secretary-General of the University
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector of the University of El Oued presented a video presentation about the university, including:
- Its faculties
- Various educational and scientific facilities
- Number of students
- Diversity of disciplines
The Russian delegation also gave a similar presentation about the educational university in their country.
The rectors of the two universities discussed ways of cooperation between them, including:
- Student and scientific exchanges
- The possibility of opening a branch of the Russian Center for Russian Culture and Language at the level of the Language Intensive Education Center
The Russian delegation visited the various laboratories of the Faculty of Nature and Life and expressed its admiration for the remarkable development that the University of El Oued has reached in several fields.
The Rector of the Tatar University will also:
- Give a lecture tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Faculty of Economic, Commercial and Management Sciences
- Organize a tourist tour for the delegation in the city of El Oued and several areas of the Souf Valley
The Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University has:
- 7 faculties
- An institute for additional professional education
- More than 5,000 students, including 7% from abroad
The university’s pedagogical program includes:
- 70 educational programs
- More than 300 additional educational programs
- 2 innovation spaces
- 3 regional innovation platforms
- 22 research and development groups
The university is also involved in international university cooperation agreements with 13 countries around the world.
