The Rector of the University of El Oued convenes a meeting to discuss a range of university files.
On January 16, 2023, Professor Omar Ferhati, the Rector of the University of El Oued, chaired a meeting to evaluate the preparation of the file for establishing subsidiary university institutions with an economic focus, as well as other files with pedagogical and scientific implications.
The meeting was attended by the vice-rectors, Deans of faculties and their deputies for pedagogy, the General Secretary of the University, the Director of Entrepreneurship, the Director of Incubation, the Chair of the University Visibility Committee, the Chair of the Five-Star Student Committee, and the Head of the Systems and Networks Department.
The discussion covered the establishment of institutions, including defining the nature of activities for some proposed economic subsidiary institutions at an initial stage. Additionally, the meeting addressed topics such as publishing in journals and university visibility, their global classification, proposals for the advancement and ranking of the University of El Oued, defining the professor’s profile page, adjusting the list of professors, as well as the progress of first-semester examinations and preparation for the second semester.
