Le directeur de l'Université d'El Oued inaugure une unité de recherche et développement sur les énergies renouvelables
El Oued, Algérie – On January 24, 2023, the Director of the University of Martyr Hamou Lakhdar, Mr. X, inaugurated the Research and Development Unit for Renewable Energies in Arid Regions, located at the university annex in the Martyrs’ Quarter of El Oued.
The Director of the University was accompanied by the new director of this facility, Dr. Mohamed Tayeb Ouassif Khaled; his deputies in charge of external relations, Professor Habib Kada, and development and forecasting, Dr. Lssoud Abdelhalim; the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Professor Ali Chamsa; the Secretary General of the University, Mr. Chokri Medellel; the Director of the University Incubator, Professor Farhat Fouad; and a representative of the Higher School of Saharan Agriculture, Mokhtar Ben Halima.
This new facility, which is considered a qualitative addition to the University of El Oued, has a number of wings that will house laboratory research and scientific training in the field of renewable energies in arid regions. The Director of the University praised the new facility and commended the efforts of the Ministry to establish and maintain this scientific unit, pointing out that it will soon benefit from advanced equipment to support research and training.
On the sidelines of the inauguration of the Research and Development Center for Renewable Energies, the Director of the University also visited the University Business Incubator and toured its facilities with the accompanying delegation, calling for the preservation of research equipment.
